Key Sections
Build the Four Pillars first
The system calculates year, month, day and hour pillars. Solar-term boundaries, birthplace, historical time zone, daylight-saving time and the chosen true-solar-time convention can affect the chart.
Without a birth time, the Hour Pillar cannot be calculated reliably. Results near an hour, date or solar-term boundary may change with corrected data or a different documented convention, so reports should mark that uncertainty.
The Day Master comes from the day stem and is the centre of traditional interpretation, not an objective diagnosis.
Source categories and checks
Inputs are grouped into calendar and astronomical time data; sexagenary-cycle, stem and branch tables; and traditional interpretation categories such as Ten Gods, hidden stems, roots and Five Elements interactions. Schools can differ on luck-cycle starts, true solar time and strength judgments.
Calculation rules and interpretive copy are reviewed separately. To request a correction, email support@globalbazi.com with the birth data, time zone and report link so the team can reproduce and correct the issue.
Read Five Elements and Ten Gods
Five Elements analysis is not simple counting. Season, hidden stems, roots and Day Master strength all change how strong or useful an element is.
Ten Gods describe resources, responsibility, money, output, peers, people dynamics and pressure. Reports translate these into practical language.
Add luck cycles and annual timing
Luck cycles describe ten-year environments; annual pillars show what gets triggered in a given year.
These are timing references, not fixed event promises. The goal is to understand when to push, organise or protect resources.
FAQ
Why can the same Day Master read differently?
Because season, roots, Five Elements, Ten Gods and timing all change the expression of the Day Master.
Why is the birth-year zodiac animal not enough for a BaZi reading?
The birth-year animal is only the Year Pillar. A complete BaZi reading also checks the Month, Day and Hour Pillars and the Five Elements strength across the whole chart.
Does a missing element always need to be added?
No. The useful direction depends on the whole chart, not just low percentages.
