Verdict: the Rooster must stop polishing after the payment date
The Rooster sees the last ten percent that could be better. That is a strength until the last ten percent delays the quote, the delivery and the invoice. In 2027, quality needs a finish line.
Send at seventy percent when the commercial terms are clear. Invoice on delivery. Two revision rounds included; the third is paid. Standards are an asset, but only when the work reaches the client.
How to read 2027: metal meets fire, standards are visible
The Rooster is You metal. 2027 is Ding Wei (Goat branch), fire over earth. Fire refines metal; standards and review are the theme. Refine too long and the tool becomes too thin to use.
Months follow solar terms. Use the calendar notes for planning; contracts and actual payments decide the cash.
January: send the quote at seventy percent
Send a quote when the amount, scope and payment date are clear. Two details can stay open if they are named in the quote.
The Rooster loses jobs not from bad quality but from a final polish that takes too long. Set a sending rule: core points ready, quote goes out.
February: standardise the quote template
Build a five-field template: service, scope, price, delivery, payment date. Add two optional modules.
A template is not laziness. It prevents the important points from disappearing while you perfect the wording.
March: raise the revision fee
Include two revision rounds and set a fee for each additional round. Write it in the quote with one example.
The Rooster can spend hours on a small variation without charging for it. A limit protects the quality of the rounds that are included.
April: sell two paid consultations
Offer two paid consultations instead of free quick looks. Thirty minutes, one question, a short written summary.
The Rooster's precision is valuable in a short session. Give it a price and a frame.
May: invoice on delivery
Send the invoice on the delivery day, not after the final polish. Prepare the photos, records and sign-off before handover.
Perfect work with no invoice is still unpaid work. Delivery is the billing event.
June: apply the revision rule
Count the rounds on a live project and compare them with the agreement. If an extra round was needed, invoice it and explain why.
A rule that is never applied is only a sentence. The application is what makes the boundary real.
July: take a deposit for detailed work
For work with many rounds and a high quality standard, ask for a deposit. It reserves the detailed week and reduces the chance of a long unpaid start.
The Rooster worries that a deposit looks unfriendly. Frame it as reserving time, not distrust.
August: ask for the next job
Ask a satisfied client for a follow-up with a fixed scope and date. Do not wait to be asked.
A concrete proposal is not pushy: “I could handle the second version in October; the scope is X and the price is Y.”
September: price urgent work
Raise the urgent fee or decline work that cannot fit. Detailed work needs time; a short deadline consumes planning and concentration.
The Rooster tends to solve urgency with late evenings instead of a price. An urgent fee is the price of an exception.
October: do not discount a late quote
If a quote is late, send it with a new date and no discount. The delay and the price are separate problems.
A discount on your own care makes the next careful job harder to fund.
November: update one page of work samples
One page is enough: a result, a before-and-after, a client sentence, a price range. Do not wait for the complete portfolio.
Link the page in quotes and emails. Quality is visible when it is shown.
December: send January offers with deposits
Send two January offers with a start date, scope and price. Ask for a deposit to reserve the slot.
A December offer is not pressure; it is the chance to start January without improvisation.
Three moves that matter
First, send at seventy percent. Second, two revision rounds included, the third paid. Third, invoice on delivery.
If you change one habit, set a finish time as well as a start time. The Rooster plans the beginning well and loses the ending.
When this reading would be wrong
This is a cultural reading of the birth-year branch, not a financial forecast. A signed contract, an actual payment, a market price or a tax deadline overrides any monthly theme.
A full BaZi chart includes the day master, month, day and hour pillars. Nothing here is investment, legal or tax advice.
